Tony takes the time to find out what you want to achieve and understand any issues or concerns you may have. He then provides a thorough and personalised schedule for you to follow which fits into the lifestyle you lead.

I am a very satisfied client and happily recommend him.

Julian Manfredi

Management Consultant Director

I started training with Tony as a way to lose weight and regain the level of fitness I enjoyed as a younger man. Training with Tony as my personal trainer (ASN) continues to be a fun and exciting. His specialist method in functional training has made every workout great fun. I really like using the ASN method and pushing myself on a weekly basis.

ASN focuses on my technique without fail at every session and I look forward to my workouts! Tony always explains why we are doing the exercises and answers my questions factually ,backed up by years of experience and technical definition of how the body works and with total professionalism.

After just a few weeks I could see and feel the change in my body, and along with the detailed plan he gave me for when I was training alone, has help me to meet my goals.

Glenn Foley

Retail Consultant

I always felt even though I had put on weight over the years that I was quite fit. Tony gave me the impetus to prove myself right! His positivity is a genuine asset and the many different techniques of training he chooses for me keeps me me engaged and wanting more.

I give my highest recommendation of Tony and appreciate all that he has done for me.

INTEGRATED TRAINING

Integrated Training will re-set what you know about training!

Along with your assessment and personal goals these sessions will redress any body imbalances with corrective exercises.

This will help reduce the risk of injury and aid in your pursuit of improving your own health, fitness and body composition.

Not only will you gain physically from this type of training, your mental health will get s massive boost (the “Holistic” approach).

Feeling fit & healthy has been proven to promote self confidence and give a greater sense of well-being, thus aiding “mental health” (healthy body = healthy mind)!

SO – if your goals are “weight loss”, to increase “lean muscle mass”, or you simply want to feel healthier, book a FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION with me.

CONSISTENCY OVER INTENSITY

Most of you will have heard of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) sessions and some of you may even have participated in such classes. These sessions are done with a hard level over a relatively short space of time. They give great returns in sense of improving overall fitness and increasing the calorie burn.

However, too many of these sessions can lead to fatigue, injury or even ‘burn-out’!

That isn’t to say that HIIT should be excluded from your training, it certainly has its place.

I am a great believer in training consistently, which means that hard sessions need to be interspersed with more moderate sessions and, also, recovery days.

Moderate sessions may include a steady run, bike, swim or a strength session in the gym/home. All done at a lower intensity than the hard days.

Recovery days (I prefer to call it ‘Active Recovery’) involves very light cardio such as walking, jogging etc., where you can still hold a conversation.

It would also incorporate SMR (Self Myofascial Release: AKA Foam Rolling) to relax tight muscles followed by a series of stretches to bring the muscles back into corrective alignment.

This routine of training will help you to keep consistent and injury/illness free thus allowing you to pursue (and surpass) your personal goals.
